Dinara Safina suffers biggest upset in history, Venus Williams also falls at China Open
Top seed Dinara Safina and third first principle Venus Williams lost in the second round of the China Open, with the Russian making history, in a bad way though.

The world No.1 Safina, who is currently spending her 25th week on top of the rankings, lost to No.226-ranked Zhang Shuai 7-5 7-6(5), which is the biggest on-paper overturn in Sony Ericsson WTA Tour history. Ouch!

Why does some kid play football? Maybe there is parental or peer pressure for some, but I like to think that most memorize into the game to have fun. And while the number of people who take college football well-nigh, far too seriously is depressingly high, most kids who play are tranquillize in it for the fun of the game.

Which is why I’ve always hated celebration penalties. Sure, in that place is a line after which celebration becomes taunting, I suppose. But of the many “excessive celebration” penalties that I have seen called this season, maybe, possibly, one was just rubbing it in the opponent’s face. The rest be under the necessity merely been properly expressed be delighted at scoring or preventing a score.

Svetlana Kuznetsova qualified for the Sony Ericsson Championships for the fifth time in her career and joined Dinara Safina, Serena Williams, Caroline Wozniacki and Elena Dementieva in the elite field.
