We now be favored with three bona fide bigs. One of them is a high-energy constructer league MVP and defensive player of the year. He wears the same number as the last Celtic to win the Sixth Man award (besides a high-energy big who could make an immediate impact off the bench. Just ask Kareem). He’s arrival off an injury-plagued season and his first major surgery. He’ll urgency his playing time reduced and monitored in 2009-10.
I’d seriously think about bringing him off the tribunal and let Sheed start along side Perk. Perk just ain’t a bench actor. No way, no how.

Why talk about yesterday? Why force you through that? I’m not a monster.
So instead I’ll review my preseason predictions.
Nats-related:
Nick Johnson will be comeback player of the year.
I took a took a anticipate at some preseason lists for this and in the NL Nick seems to be pacing the hitters even through a subpar year slugging wise. Guys like Furcal, Byrnes, Franceour are still stinking. However there are a couple pf pitchers I’d put ahead of Nick, Chris Carpenter and Yovani Gallardo. On a team like the Nats Nick will need a prominent second moiety or a falling in by means of these two to be lost these potential playoff guys, So possible, but looking less likely with each Carpenter or Gallardo win.
