If last weekend’session primitive Test is anything to go by, this week’s second Test is not to be missed.

The Springbok’s band was awesome and helped to set up what looked to be a winning lead, but the British and Irish Lions hit back and gave the Boks a huge fright before going down by five points.

If the Boks were ever going to be vulnerable it was probably going to be last week as they had been kept in cotton wool while the Lions played six tour games.

The home side almost ran out of puff but fortunately in spite of John Smit’sitting men the Lions squandered a couple of scoring chances.

The two remaining Tests will be played at altitude and while that be disposed obviously suit the Boks, expect the Lions to prostrate everything at them this week.

They’ll be determined to keep the series living and after scoring three tries to couple in Durban they’ll be painful to limit the silly penalties that cost them dearly.

With a run under their belts the Springboks should be in better shape to see out the full eighty and they’ll have the parochial Pretoria common people behind them.

While I’d like to see the concatenation absolute the following week in Johannesburg, it’s hard to go past the Boks again this week.

They got a huge fright last week and should be more prepared for what the Lions will throw at them this week. Boks to win another time and action two-up.
