The Stormers flanker, who was excluded for the first game due to a calf damage, is a straight replacement for Heinrich Brussow and will force his 50th Test appearance when he runs out against the tourists.

The rest of the team that started the first game remains the same, with the only other changes coming on the bench where Chiliboy Ralepelle is named ahead of Gurthro Steenkamp, while scrum-half Ricky Januarie makes opportunity to pass to accommodate Brussow.

That change means that the Springboks will require a five-two favor split, with fly-half Ruan Pienaar acting as cover for Fourie du Preez at count nine.
