Last Friday at Columbia, Marble posted a 21-6 technical fall against Jerome Greco for his sixth duals win for bonus points on the season. Marble’s likely opponent will be Billy Ashnault (4-8).
- 141: Sophomore Luke Chohany (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita) holds a record of 16-10 overall and is 9-5 in duals. He registered a 13-4 major decision, his fifth of the year, against Columbia’s Nick Standish last time out to remain undefeated against EIWA foes (4-0). He will take on either Clint Shirk (6-7) or Owen Wilkinson (3-2).
- 149: Freshman Kevin LeValley (Hugo, Colo./Limon) is 18-10 overall, 10-7 in duals and is tied for the team lead in major decisions with nine. LeValley will be looking to snap a two match losing streak this Friday when he faces Matt Fittery (17-8).
- 157: Sophomore Brantley Hooks (Spartanburg, S.C./James F. Byrnes) enters the weekend with a record of 10-8 and is 6-5 in duals. Hooks had won three straight duals matches prior to being edged by Columbia’s Matt Dunn, 4-3, last Friday. He is expected to face John Mangini (11-13).
- 165: Sophomore co-captain Andy Rendos (Brockway, Pa./Brockway Area) is currently ranked 19th nationally and leads the Bison in wins with a record of 21-6. He is tied with Marble for the team lead in duals victories with a mark of 13-4. Rendos logged his team-best eighth duals win for bonus points at Columbia, taking home a 14-3 major decision against Victor Mocco. The major decision was his ninth of the season and improved his EIWA record to 5-0. This Friday, Rendos is slated to take on Derek Caldwell (1-4).
- 174: Sophomore Shane Riccio (Warren, N.J./Watchung Hills) extended his streak to 11 straight duals victories by defeating Columbia’s Travis Creagan, 7-0, last weekend. Riccio is currently 12-1 in duals (4-0 EIWA) and 19-6 overall. He will face either Tom Kocher (12-9) or Mike Metzger (5-10).
