Olympic sprint champion Justin Gatlin has filed a notice that he will appeal his four-year doping suspension.
The notice was filed Monday to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the international body that has the final say in such matters.
Setup by the Sheffield & Hallamshire FA, the fund aims to assist local clubs whose grounds were badly affected in the June disaster which saw many parts of Yorkshire and the surrounding area plunged under water.
Last week saw Barnsley based outfit, Worsbrough Bridge Athletic, receive an equipment donation from the fund and club secretary, Charlie Wyatt, commented: “The donation is very much appreciated and helps us recover some of the equipment we lost.
