Jean-Claude Darcheville
GLASGOW, Scotland – Jean-Claude Darcheville scored in the 89th minute to give Rangers a 1-0 win at Inverness Caledonian Thistle and a four-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premier League standings.
Darcheville scored with a low shot to give Rangers 50 points. Celtic, which beat Kilmarnock 1-0 on Saturday, is second with 46 points.
Both clubs have played 21 games.
Rangers thought it had scored in the 72nd minute, but Charlie Adam was called for offside.
"It was a hard-fought win," Rangers manager Walter Smith said. "We scored what I thought was a good goal and had it chalked off but managed to get the winner through Jean-Claude so I’m delighted."
