Cavs’ Varejao undergoes MRI on knee

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) – Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Anderson Varejao suffered a left knee contusion and left Achilles strain during Wednesday night’s 90-81 loss to the Atlanta Hawks.

Varejao underwent an MRI Thursday afternoon at The Cleveland Clinic that confirmed the injuries.

The big man is currently listed as questionable for Friday’s game against the Charlotte Bobcats.
