QUEENSLAND coach Frank Farina remains wary of facing a carefree Perth Glory when the Roar resume their minor premiership tilt in Perth this weekend.
Three points adrift of A-League leaders Central Coast with four rounds to go, the second-placed Roar could again find themselves equal top if results go their way this weekend.
But after the last-placed Glory dismantled Sydney FC 4-2 in their final game before the Christmas break, Farina said he would be happy to leave Members Equity Stadium with a point.
"They don’t have too much to lose at the moment even though mathematically they could still make the finals," Farina said.
"They’ll be full of confidence now. In their last outing against Sydney they thoroughly deserved their win.
"They played really well, showed what they’re capable of, and they relaxed, which allowed them to express themselves. That makes any team dangerous.
"If we can get something out of the game, I’ll be very happy."
Queensland will be without Stuart McLaren, due to an ankle sprain, but they will welcome back experienced defender Danny Tiatto after he missed the 1-1 draw with Wellington a fortnight ago, with a hamstring injury.
Robbie Kruse, who missed training with a virus, is expected to travel, but fellow young star Michael Zullo is still thought to be a week away from returning.
