A fast start helped Vanderbilt to a victory in its first true road game of the season, as well as in its most recent contest.
The 20th-ranked Commodores hope for more of the same when they visit DePaul on Wednesday night.
Despite winning the South Padre Invitational in Texas last month, Vanderbilt (9-0) will visit an opponent’s home court for just the second time when it faces the Blue Demons (2-3), who could still be reeling from Saturday’s 84-66 loss at No. 3 Kansas.
