Jason Bay
Jason Bay might be on the move . but not to the Blue Jays.
According to a report in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Pirates have been discussing a five-player trade with the Cleveland Indians. In the proposed deal, the Pirates would send Bay and catcher Ronny Paulino to the Indians for outfielder Franklin Gutierrez, catcher Kelly Shoppach and either starter Cliff Lee or a minor-league pitching prospect.
While the deal is far from done, the two sides are expected to continue discussions Wednesday morning.
