It’s every player’s dream to be at The FA Cup Final and five players from last weekend’s Second Round could fulfill that wish with your votes.

Havant & Waterlooville’s surprise 1-0 victory over Notts County was arguably the highlight of the 19 ties which were played.

Tony Taggart was Havant’s hero, the substitute’s 87th minute goal enough to book his side a place in the Third Round, and he has been nominated by The Telegraph’s Ricky George.

Horsham’s name was in the hat for the Third Round draw for the first time in their long history and much of that was due to the heroics of goalkeeper Paul Seuke, who won the nomination of David Emery of the Non-League Paper.

Seuke, only playing due to Alan Mansfield’s suspension, made a string of superb saves – one double-stop was breaktaking – during his side’s 1-1 draw with League One leaders Swansea on Friday night.

Indeed, should Horsham upset the odds and win the replay in Wales then Seuke might face Taggart in the Third Round.

The third player to be nominated is Peterborough’s Craig Mackail-Smith (pictured above). He cracked four goals in his side’s 5-0 win over Staines – a display which earned the vote of BBC Radio 5 Live’s Mark Clemmit.

Chasetown owe a big debt of gratitude to Mark Branch (pictured below) after he scored a wonderful free-kick to secure a draw at Port Vale.

The non-League side were trailing to the League One outfit until Branch intervened – a moment not lost on Howard Wheatcroft of the Daily Star who put forward the Chasetown man as his nomination.

The last of the five players to be nominated is Dagenham & Redbridge’s Paul Benson who won E.ON Managing Director Graham Bartlett’s vote.

After Kidderminster had taken the lead, Benson’s brace ensured his side moved into the Third Round.
