Kyle Camper’s 3-pointer with 50 seconds left gave Iona the lead and the Gaels held on to beat Delaware 57-52 on Friday night for their first victory of the season.
Dexter Gray had 11 points, and Milan Prodanovic added nine to lead the Gaels (1-6).
Alphonso Dawson scored 11 points, and D.J. Boney, Brian Johnson, Edwin Santiago and Sam McMahon each had 10 points for the Blue Hens (0-4).
Gray and Prodanovic scored nine points apiece to help Iona take a 31-29 lead at halftime.
