Center Marreese Speights led Florida with 15 points and six rebounds in a 71-48 win over Stetson on Tuesday night.
Gators coach Billy Donovan pulled four starters less than four minutes into the game after a sluggish start. Florida (6-1) trailed 12-3 before a 14-0 Gator run sparked by forward Adam Allen’s 3-pointer.
Stetson (2-5) missed 15 of its next 18 shots and trailed 35-21 at halftime.
Stetson finished the game shooting 33.9 percent from the field.
