WILLIE Mason has confirmed he has signed with the Sydney Roosters.

The Bulldogs forward, who has played 148 games for the Canterbury outfit, has agreed terms with the Bondi club and has been released from the final two years of his contract at Belmore.

He will be unveiled as a Roosters players at a 4pm ( EDT) press conference at the Sydney Football Stadium.

Leonard Houston and Josh Young each scored a career-high 23 points as Drake beat Cornell 92-55 Wednesday night.

Young also chipped in a career-high seven 3-pointers and three of the team’s 14 steals in Keno Davis’ debut as Drake’s head coach.

Cornell, a Division III school in Iowa, stayed close early and even took a brief two-point lead midway through the first half. However, Young’s outside shooting sparked a Drake rally that propelled the Bulldogs to a 48-30 halftime lead.

Sports drug abusers use illegal drugs to enhance their performance in the events. There are two types of cases in usage of drugs in sports. One is accidental and another one is intentional drugs usage.

Accidental Usage:
In this case there are certain instances, it may not the athlete’s fault, especially if the athlete adopt self-medication for minor illnesses. As some drug substances are readily available in the market for the medical purposes, athletes are very much prone to mishandle these drugs. For example, most cough and cold medicines and painkillers contain minimum amounts of alcohol and other drugs. As a consequence, the abuser has to be guilty for what he actually didn’t intended to do.

NHL Network announces new AHL deal

NHL Network today announced it has reached a one-year extension for broadcast rights to games of the American Hockey League (AHL), the NHL’s top development league.  The broadcast package provides NHL Network in both Canada and the U.S. with 20 ‘Game of the Week’ match-ups, airing Thursdays at 7 p.m. ET throughout the regular season of the AHL, which has affiliations with 30 NHL teams.

Coverage begins with Rochester @ Syracuse on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. ET (see complete broadcast schedule below).  The 20-game package marks the most AHL games ever televised on NHL Network, which aired 12 AHL match-ups last season.  NHL Network has televised AHL games in Canada since the 2004-05 season.
