Freshman Kyle Singler had 27 points and 10 rebounds, and No. 13 Duke routed defending Division II national champion Barton 105-44 in an exhibition game Saturday night.
Fellow freshman Nolan Smith had 18 points, and sophomore Gerald Henderson added 17 for the Blue Devils, who led by 61 in their final preseason tuneup before Friday night’s opener against crosstown foe North Carolina Central.
