Soccer-Weblog recently featured the best free-kick you've seen in a long time and I'd still argue that Lee McArdle's effort was top notch. But if there's a notch above top notch then this might be it. Venezuela defender Jose Manuel Rey scored this from almost the halfway line, to claim a World Cup 2010 Qualifying (yep, they've started already) victory over Ecuador this weekend. I've heard a few people say the keeper's to blame for this goal. He is not.
