NEW YORK (AP) — If Roger Clemens had been making the call, the New York Yankees really would have bugged out.

Clemens viewed Friday night’s insect invasion at Cleveland’s Jacobs Field from both the dugout and a television in the clubhouse, and he concluded it was too distracting an environment to pitch in.

“I would have probably pulled us off the field,” Clemens said Saturday at Yankee Stadium.

IAAF president labels Jones a ‘fraud’

MONTE CARLO, Monaco (AP) – Marion Jones’ legacy will be as "one of the biggest frauds in sporting history," IAAF president Lamine Diack said Saturday.

Diack said he was "deeply disappointed" with the news that Jones had admitted to taking banned drugs when she won three Olympic golds and two bronze medals in 2000.

BRITISH driver Lewis Hamilton spun into the gravel at the start of pit lane with 25 laps remaining to crash out of the Chinese Grand Prix today.

Finland’s Kimi Raikkonen won in a Ferrari, while Hamilton’s McLaren teammate Fernando Alonso was second and Brazil’s Felipe Massa came third (Ferrari).

The incident denied Hamilton the chance to win the world championship, which now goes down to the final race of the season in Brazil.
