ADELAIDE celebrated Brett Maher’s record-breaking 482nd National Basketball League appearance for the club with a dramatic 115-108 win over South Dragons at the Distinctive Homes Dome in Adelaide.
The 36ers overcame a 14-point half-time deficit to secure the win, with Maher netting 19 points in a superb all-court performance on a special night for him and his club.
Sixers recruit Adam Ballinger was also in great touch with 27 points, while Lanard Copeland sank 14.
Joe Ingles most impressed for the Dragons, with a 25-point tally. Nathan Herbert added 23 points while player-coach Shane Heal netted 20 points.
